Excellent Console The PS3 has done everything I have thrown at it excellently - Playing games - Tick, Playing Blu-Ray - Tick, Backwards compatibility with PS2 - Tick, Internet - Tick, Wi-Fi auto flash updates - Tick, Good looks - Tick, Bluetooth remote controls - Tick, Storing and showing pictures on the TV - Tick, - It does what is says on the tin and it does it well!

they left out the fun I have a xbox 360,wii and PS3. Mostly i play on xbox 360 2nd most wii and i play least on my PS3. Why? cos its not fun i find that games realeased on ps3 and xbox are the same even though the PS3 cost more and uses stupid bluray which i dont need in a game system. The ps3 60gb plays ps2 but through hdmi it looks like crap. I would sell my ps3 but the exclusive games even though there are only a few while xbox has many the ps3 exclusives i like more than xbox exclusives. And PSN is just so unfair to people not in america the ps1 games downloads great but in the US crash bandicoot 2 and all 3 original spyros are out but in the UK there not WTH. And you know when you try to play a game online and you need to update it the updates take forever!!!! On xbox it takes like 20secs to update a game and the xbox doesnt have much system updates. The PS3 has a system update like every 2 weeks and game updates can take between 2mins and 2hours. The PS3 has a web browser which crashes all the time. I gave it 3 star because of ratchet and clank, god of war and uncharted. I just think what your getting for the price isnt enough compared to xbox and wii. One last thing i just downloaded something 4gb on ps3 and it downloaded and it says its corrupt so now ive gotta download it again.

Too good... This is a brilliant console: -Built in Blu-ray -Plays Div-X -4 USB ports-only on 60GB(I didnt think I would need that many, but you do) -Memory card slots-only on 60GB -Built in Wifi -Backwards compatible- but to be honest Ive never played PS1 or PS2 games on it anyway! -Looks very slick on my stand -Great graphics Bad points: -Expensive- But, to be fair, you do get a built in Blu-ray player and Wifi, unlike Xbox 360, so it works out cheaper than an Xbox. -Although Im a PS3 fan, I do like the new Xbox pads. But im used to PS3 pads, so its not that much of a big deal.

The Best Purchase I've Made in Ages Solid, flexible, reliable and beautiful - what more can you ask for? The slick black and chrome curves, elegant touch controls and intuitive sliding GUI are the perfect carapace for a marvel of home entertainment. The simple plug and play set up, and the easy wi-fi configuration meant that I had this up and running almost instantly. Admittedly the range of games was initially rather limited, particularly since I'm no fan of driving games, but as with any machine, time remedied that issue and the range and variety of games has increased and there are a number of standout titles to be enjoyed. As a result, I've had to install a new hard drive with a much bigger capacity. Apart from an issue with screw heads stripping out, this was a fairly simple process, and the inbuilt backup/restore software meant that I didn't lose any of my settings or game data in the process. Honestly, this is the best machine I've ever bought - I can play games, listen to music, watch films, and can do a little bit of online browsing (this is the one feature I'd like to see enhanced, and I'm hopeful we'll see that with a future downloadable enhancement). It's far more than just a games console, it's a move towards an all-in-one media platform, and that's what I think a lot of its detractors miss when they perpetuate the juvenile cross platform rivalry that exists between elements of the PS3 and Xbox communities.
