Guild Wars Nightfall - Collectors Edition (Video Game)

Top game @ unbelievable value from amazon It's...really...good...and...everyone...in...my...house...loves...it...and...you'll...love...it...too...coz...it's...gooder...than...good. . It also states on the game box lid that 'an internet connection IS REQUIRED'. . Also, up there ^^^ if you click where it says 'system requirements', anyone can see that it 'requires' an internet connection. . Thanks to Amazon and the game makers for making this information available to anyone who bothers to look. . . This game really does kick a$$. buy it!

No Single Player Having downloaded the Account Activation I find that there is no provision for singe player game in an offline mode. Should there not be a clear warning on the Amazon site, or the game packaging for those who do not wish to play online. Not good.Is this a one off, or are there other games out there waiting to trip up the unsuspecting?

best rpg ever this is a fantastic and is definatly worth buying the special edition set is worth it to you get 2 great posters all the cd's in a nice little case a little bag for the bages a realy good art book and a cool stand up figur you also get a little pet thing in the games which dosent do anything but looks cool I am glad i got this and if you are thinking about it get it!

My second GW outing... Having played Prophecies since the beta version and having missed out on Factions until recently, I decided that I needed to get Nightfall to keep up with the fast paced PvP (player versus player) aspect of Guild Wars. Of course, this isn't to say new players won't enjoy this as an introduction into the GW universe either. This campaign in particular has some very powerful skills for the 'old' proffesions, as well as introucing the powerful new Dervish and Paragon classes (and as any serious PvP player will tell you, these have completely changed the face of PvP, especially the Dervish). If you're looking to buy the game for it's campaign, then be prepared to come up against a fairly difficult 'starter period' for beginners (compared to that of Prophecies and Factions anyway). Throughout the game, you have the ability to buy yourself armour, weapons and skills, all of which are then unlocked for the PvP aspect. Overall, for new players I would reccomend looking into the series' first installment rather than this outing, which I and many others believe to be the best. Anyone thinking about buying this to add to an existing account would do well to bring an Ele =).

Amazing I own 2 out of the 3 guild wars games and they are amazing! really good graphics, good story line and get a special emote e.g on nightfall special edition you get a strobe on factions special edition you get these weird zombie things Theres special events,special items,special amours,special weapons and more happy gaming!
