Another Gay Movie [2006] (DVD)

side splitting hilarious romp I loved this movie, its humour is so bare knuckle and close to the bone with very graphic sex scenes so keep this well away from the kids! but for the homo friendly adult whether gay or straight its fabulous. It IS very stereotypical but hey, isnt that all part of the fun. I recommend you add this one to the purely adult humour category of your dvd collection and enjoy it with gusto.

Genius This movie really is hilarious and isnt afraid to be frank and adult with its humour. Finally we get a movie that doesn't pander to the mainstream straight audience and has enough brilliantly funny gay jokes and sex to keep you watching it again and again and again and again!!! I saw it in San Francisco at a premier at the Castro cinema and have been raving about it ever since. And I mean RAVING its Brilliant!!!!!

Another Movie wanting to cash in on the Gay Pound !? Described on the tin as 'outrageous' ; that is exactly what you get - to an awful extreme !? Everybody in the film is a 2-dimensional stereotype (the lesbian character just turns your stomach - she is too over-the-top vulgar) and in the attempt to get in every conceivable cheap gay gag imaginable we lose all sensitivity towards any of the characters. The blatant 'titivation' technique (with flashes of nudity here and there, as well as copious amounts of 'sex' thrown in for good measure) actually just serves to blur further the comedic value. Graham Norton's appearance ? He is actually ok in this (there was NO requirement for anyone to 'act' in this film, so his performance was adequate as the squeaky clean Polish (type) Teacher who turns out to be a complete Fetish Master.) Probably the biggest 'laugh' for me was the sight of Graham with a huge strap-on ( I assume ??!) penis, complete with nipple clamps and leather gear. However, with hindsight, I realised that I only thought it was funny because it was Graham Norton in a shocking outfit. I can only presume that, upon seeing the end result, Graham hopes this film dies quietly and quickly on Amazon.com (cos I certainly don't remember seeing this movie advertised at the cinema or sitting on a shelf at HMV ???). Bless this film for trying - but it really could only appeal to teenagers who still find 'farting' on screen hilarious or ones who have yet to stuff a porn film / magazine under their mattress away from the prying eyes of Mother.

Stereotyped and vulgar I'm a 21 year old gay man and I bought this film as I have a sense of humour about myself and thought it would be a humorous look at the gay community. It was camp, obsene (on more than one occasion we see characters defecating and on one occasion it's on someone), childish and humorless. A really bad film. If you want a fantastic film from Amazon, get Adam and Steve
