Guitar Hero II with X-Plorer Wired Guitar Controller (Xbox 360) (Video Game)

If I could give it 6 stars I would This game is utterly utterly brilliant you MUST buy it!!! Totally addictive and throughly enjoyable. Get your mates round, get the beers in and ROCK ON!!!

Lets get Rocking Guitar Hero is the game you want to get for xbox 360, forget about other games such as Gears of War or Bioshock if you truely want a game that you will sit playing for hours this is the game for you. although the only critisim i have of this game is tht the guitar that comes with it is rather small but when you start rocking your heart out this doesnt become a problem designed for all ages this game is perfect for anyone from oldies to emo's due to the wide range in music. aswell of course you can unlock some more tunes. So anyone who is looking at this game and wondering wether to get it or not, eventhough it is quite pricey for what it is, it is certainly one of xbox 360's biggest games and well worth the money. just look at the rest of the reviews on the page to prove that this game should not be overlooked

best game ever !!! i honestly think ive never had more fun on a games console than with this game !! if you've ever dreamed of shreddin with the best you'll love this. theres endless game modes and with the extra content on live ( bit expensive ) the possibilitys are endless !! i could write forever about how great this game is but it can be summed up in just 2 words...........simply awesome !!!

COOL I have worshipped Guitar Hero since it came out. Every time I went to my mate's house I demanded a go on it and we would spend the whole sunny day indoors, me gleefully playing along through the whole playlist. GH 2 comes out and I demand goes on that, and when it's anounced for 360 I order one as soon as I can scrape the money together. Now it isn't just a now and again treat however, I have noticed some problems. The game is way too short on medium and the difficulty gap between medium and hard is way too large. There is no happy average setting really. I am completely stuck on set 6 on hard. The playlist now seems quite small after playing it through over and over, and the downloadable stuff is very limited. Also, the Explorer shaped guitar makes it a little less comfortable than the PS2 SG, but this is no big problem. But despite these minor troubles, this is a fantastic and original game well worth your money.

360 must have! How much fun is this! This game seriously rocks. I'm a complete biff on a normal guitar but this baby makes me feel like I'm Hendrix or Slash and nailing every note to Rage Against the Machine, Killing in the Name of, is too rewarding for words (even though all the swearing has been cut from the song). Tricky at first, even using just three fret buttons on Easy, and cranking it up to using four buttons and then five turns your fingers into a blur as you struggle to hit some of the power notes. Again, it's rewarding when you wow the audience with your furious fret work on these levels. My only critism is that you can't jam with people across the world on XBox Live(unless I'm missing something) and this is a real shame. There also isn't the option to buy another guitar on it's own for multi-player at home..yet..the European market has missed out again coz if you buy the game package stateside, you get 2 guitars with the game for about $130 (£70 odd quid). Plenty of new tracks to download via marketplace keeps possible song boredom at bay (guitar solo to Ozzy Ozbournes Bark at the Moon is almost impossible for my chubby digits but I keep going back to it) and I can't get the opening riff to Smoke on the Water out of my head. This game is a must for anyone who dreams of rock stardom but failed music class and will keep you coming back again and again and again. Buy it...now
