Product ReviewsCustomers have given Xbox 360 Elite Console (120 GB Hard Drive) an average customer review rating of 3.5 out of 5. The latest reviews have been displayed below. The PS3 is now better, in every way. I bought myself the X360 as soon as it came out, and despite all the RRoD issues, mine was running perfectly well. And it lasted a pretty long time compared to most. It died 3 months ago. RRoD. So, I decided to buy the Elite, mainly cos of the HDMI. And it's Black and Green! Anyway. It arrived and got it set up and I was playing GOW again, bit of Halo, PGR4, back to my usuall gaming self. And it died within 2 weeks.... 2 WEEKS!! Couldn't sort it out with Microsoft, as there customer service seems non-existant to me atm. I may as well ask my cat to sort it out. I then decided on buying another one, as I just love the games. And that died 1 1/2 months later.I went round my mates house a few weeks ago, as he bought himself a PS3 and a few new games. Motorstorm 2, Little Big Planet. He's got himself COD: WAW and pre-ordered Resistance 2. The PS3 is awesome for games, for your music, videos, it has Blu-Ray, and it feels like a quality piece of kit, well built, unlike the Xbox. >>> continued in comments Burnt out and fade away Guys bought this machine about 14 months for my son and just got the three dreaded lights of death! These machines are badly made. Microsoft of course has me over a barrel here as just bought another £100 worth of gear for it for xmas! Had I known I may have tried out the PS3. Yes I know they can be fixed, but in the reliability stakes these machines are pretty much rubbish! Its a pity as they do make great games that look and play well. Short but Sweet xbox elite vs ps3 Brought the xbox elite a couple of days ago and played for a few hours with fable 2. im prety impressed so far. I love the controller its so much better than the ps3. The noise level is high but you do get used to it, however they are bringing out the new dashboard where you can download the games onto the harddrive...and as it is very quiet when not in the game this may work out nicely (as is the case with ps3). Online the xbox wins hands down... i was playing farcry2 on ps3 earlier in the week and online was infuriating!! constantly getting booted off after one game and random disconnections! You cant just play as ps3 game, it has to be installed and what with updates online I sometimes take more time downloading than playing...not good if you have limited time! At least with the xbox you will get a choice as to download to harddrive or not! If you want to choose the best way is to play both, I was lured in to the ps3 with its next gen boasts but so far no game has really lived up to the promise. The xbox has my vote for now at least! Xbox 360 Elite Console Had this Elite for about a month now... moved over from the PS3.Hard drive is fantastic (120GIG), more than enough room to play with for downloading game demos and movies etc from the Xbox Live Network. HDMI audio/Video output is a must nowadays, pixel perfect images almost real! The Controller (wireless) included has a nice feel to it, although it does come with 2 AA Batteries I would recommend purchasing the official Charge and play kit, will save you in the long run. Included headset is ok.. not the best quality in the world but does the job :)Another plus point regarding the 120GB Hard-drive is we are shortly due a major update on the Xbox 360 (Mid November 08), this new update will allow the installation of your games on the Hard drive... which inturn solves my biggest gripe with the xbox...NOISY DVD ROM DRIVE! so no more constant accessing from the drive!! Hooray!! - Game disc is only required once each play.... just to check you own the original.Graphics in my humble opinion are on par with the PS3, and that's a good thing... so if your thinking of jumping ship towards the Xbox from the PS3.... then do it! you wont regret it.... there is a much wider range of games and they are cheaper too, granted the PS3 network is free, the Xbox 360 network costs between £26 - £40 a year for the gold membership, but there is just so so much more with microsoft.... movies, trailers and thousands of playable demos. Whilst on the subject of online gaming ... having previously owned the PS3 and thus able to compare the two machines, The 360's online system is far superior to Sony's effort, not so many glitches and lock-ups, and the audio/speaking feature (Headsets) is much clearer. Well worth the purchase. Elite Fan Boy Elite console is fantastic, had mine nearly a year. Picture quality is amazing on HDMI compared to my old xbox 360. Massive strorage on the 120GB hard drive and a great looking machine. The Elite XBOX 360 is a better gaming machine then the playstation 3 and has more games and a better range of exclusive XBOX360 only games compared to the PS3 Submit Your ReviewTo submit your review of Xbox 360 Elite Console (120 GB Hard Drive) you must first login / register.
