Product DescriptionIt's taken a long time for Rowan Atkinson to bring us Mr Bean's Holiday, the sequel to the substantial hit of 1997. But in that time, he's lost none of what made the character so huge in the first place, delivering an effective comedy that's again managed to ignite box offices right across the world. The set-up for Mr Bean's Holiday is in the title: the hapless title character wins a holiday to France, meaning this time it's the French Riviera that's the backdrop for the slapstick humour that has defined the series. And so Mr Bean finds himself in a series of increasingly unlikely situations, causing all manner of havoc in the process. While unlikely to convert anyone who isn't already a fan, Mr Bean's Holiday is nonetheless a comedy that delivers reliable laughs very much in the spirit of what has gone before. Atkinson continues to inhabit the character with great skill, and it's--rightly--his work here that brings the lion's share of the laughs. By most accounts, Mr Bean's Holiday is the swansong for a character that's manage to delight audiences worldwide for over a quarter of a century. And while the film is, truthfully, no classic, at its peak it's a hoot, and offers gentle, enjoyable family entertainment. --Jon Foster Image GalleryClick on a thumbnail on the left to view a larger image on the right.

Product ReviewsCustomers have given Mr Bean's Holiday [2007] an average customer review rating of 3.5 out of 5. The latest reviews have been displayed below. A very funny film I went to see this film at the cinema with my 8 year old son, having seen Mr Bean on the TV I wasn't looking forward to it. Although I like Rowan Atkinson, I can normally only put up with about 5 minutes of the TV series material before I get bored. This film however was an absolute hoot. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will buy a copy. A very funny film ideally suited to "family" viewing unlike a lot of other films which are recommended as such. Mr Bean's Holiday I have seen some of Mr Bean's tv series and they was funny! This isn't funny at all , it is so silly. A great disappointment PAINFUL!!!!! Very few laughs and overly predictable I am a huge fan of Mr. Bean and have seen all the old TV series and the first film, but I was extremely disappointed with this one. There was no real storyline and it was so predictable. The whole basis is simply things going wrong on the journey to Cannes with the jokes being spoon fed to the viewer and removing any surprises. Great for kids under 8 years but anyone over that age prepare to be disappointed. The best bits of the film are shown in the trailers, which are funny but do not make up for the poor quality of the rest of the film. I hate to be so negative about Bean but this one was a disaster! Hope Mr bean movies keep going! I was so excited to see this after hearing they'd made another Mr Bean movie (this). It all seemed a well made plot, disaster abroad with Mr Bean! Though i must say it could have been slightly better. This however, didn't ruin the laughter of the film. I remember laughing my head off at the restaurant scene (his face is just so funny). No matter how rubbish the storyline is i know that Rowan Atkinson never fails to make a good/funny role! Mr bean's Holiday is becoming quite an addictive movie now (after 5 viewings of it!) could still watch it over and over again because it's such a good family film. Overall i think this deserves a 9! Mr Beans 's Holiday This is not up to Rowan Atkinson's usual standard.. I'm glad I didn't buy it. Too silly in places to be funny..A great disappointment..barbara davies.
