realism Lets put some perspective on this TV. Its is cheap. It won't have the best sound and picture quality - if you want that, buy a Sony (and spend £200 more). I was going to buy a 'better' TV, but then i thought "Do i really need to spend so much more money for a bedroom TV?" No. Its a great little set. Sound and picture both adequate for a bedroom Tv.

Really Great TV AND a Bargain Great next day delivery by Amazon. The TV's picture is great, the sound is good, I don't know why other people don't like the sound unless it is a fault in their product. Good slots. Have everything plugged into my tv now, no switching around except for the two scarts. Great tv, buy this if you are looking for a cheap but good build quality of LG. Good for bedroom and looks very smooth.

Great Picture, BUT....... I bought one of these for use with an Xbox 360, and limited tv use. Having no freeview was not a problem to me as I have plenty of freeview boxes lying aroung that are easy to hook up into the scart connection on the back of the tv. I had read mixed reviews about the sound on this set, and it's not great to say the least, but it's passable for an LCD, and certainly ok for a bedroom or kitchen. Considering the sound issue, I hooked mine up to a stereo, which sorted out any problem there for when playing games, but after about 3 weeks of owning this unit, while watching the tv, all sound went! - Nothing, just a buzzing sound from the speakers when cranked up to full volume. I fiddled with the scart connection for a bit, and eventually got some sound back, but it was worse than ever. Speech sounded like a Dalek from Doctor Who.... It had definitely developed a fault. Maybe I have just been unlucky, as there are plenty of happy customers out there, me being one of them till the sound went. If you get a good one, you'll be happy with it, but maybe its true what they say, you get what you pay for. I've sent it back to Amazon for a refund.

Great Monitor, good as second TV I had a TV card in my PC so needed to buy a monitor. I saw this one at £129 from Currys. I though i might as well give it a go, even if the TV tuner built into it is no good, it will be a decent monitor. As it happened, the analogue TV is great. I have it plugged directly into the Virgin Cable supply and it has no problems in decoding the channels to a very good quality, even better than my TV card did. The inputs on the back are very impressive, only lacking a HDMI input, but the VGA, DVI, Scart, Composite etc are all very good quality. I know a lot of people are complaining about the speakers, but i wouldn't buy this as the main TV for the living room. It works well as a bedroom/office TV and saves a lot of space as you dont need seperate TV and PC Monitor. There is an audio output on the back to hook up to sepperate speakers or a hifi, but its only a minijack output, not digital audio output. I was so impressed with this TV, the ease of use, the great picture quality, the fact thats its a HD ready 19" flat screen for just £129, I'm gonna buy anoth one for the other bedroom.
