This band is THE perfect example of the Law of diminishing returns.When I first heard these guys some months back,I though they weren't bad.But as I heard "shes so lovely" and subsequent songs I have to say enough is enough. I don't know what it is about them.Is it the fact that they wrap their unbelievably banal lyrics around a melody that barely changes from song to song? Is it that they're so mind-numbingly bland and inoffensive? Or is it that,as one reviewer mentioned previously,supposed "teenybopper" bands like McFly and Busted did this sort of thing much better years ago? I'm no musical snob.I like anything from The Beatles to Mowtown,The Smiths to Kylie.But this I can't stand. Atrocious The musical equivalent of a war crime. Scouting for Girls have set back the progress of the whole of Western civilization by at least 18 months. poor Just too mainstream, there are far more interesting things going on in the undergrowth - for a comparison I recommend Nick Worrall. His album is FREE to download as well. It's So Lov-er-ley!!! I LOVE this!!! Yes, perhaps it may become tiresome at some stage, but it is a fab little album. Such catchy tunes and very clever and amusing lyrics - not deep but that's no bad thing. I am loving being behind the wheel of my car singing along to this with a huge smile on my face - my kids are almost word perfect too!!! Buy it and ignore all the negative reviews!!! scouting for idiots Where to begin. The inane lyrics, the general feeling that you just heard that song 3 minutes ago, repeating a line incessantly that it grinds your brain into mush. Give them a talented songwriter and they could be probably be decent enough. There is nothing new here though. It just feels like a manufactured version of The Feeling.
