Polaroid TLU-03723BU - 37" Definia Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV - With Freeview - Black (Electronics)

Areasonable TV but Polariod service is non existant This TV is of good design and has loads of features-Picture in picture, card slot, is easy to set up, May need to adjust the picture setings on the analogue but the HD is excellent for DVDs-The problem I had was that the information bar constantly came on even when viewing programs-I suspect tuner failiour was the cause. I contacted Polaroid and wasnt able to gain any response. The TV was returned to Amazon who were really good in handling the situation, and were very quick to refund the money. It is such a shame that what is potentially a reasonably well designed TV should be marred with lack of service by Polaroid. Amazon were great to deal with and I would certainly buy from them again.

You get what you pay for-FACT Well I got this because of reviews here and all I can say is some people are easily pleased. The Poloroid logo on front of TV is slanted which I think is a disgusting error and on the stand the whole TV leans forward.The set up when with Sky is complex as to where teh TV wants to access it from the initail scan which said no channels found ! Freeview is not to be found. The picture is rather misty and bland. It looks reasonable on teh stand and the size and connections are great but its poor quality without the basics of even getting the logo straight teh leaning inwards and the misty pictures.As I say you so get what you pay for no matter who you are trying to kid. Really good value Bought this TV on behalf of my daughter for her new home.She has been using it for just over a month.Extremely easy to set up and picked up all the expected analog and Freeview channels.Good picture, not quite as sharp as a Sony I had looked at - but at half the price! Very good picture from cheap DVD player connected via SCART - we haven't tried any HD type inputs yet. Sound is more than adequate from built in speakers. All in all excellent value for money - used free delivery option - delivered 5 days earlier than originally predicted - glad we didn't pay for special delivery!!!

FANDABBYDOZY................ This TV has got to be the bargain of the century! It looks sleek and modern and the picture is sharp and clear.. Delivery was in a matter of days and the wall bracket we ordered arrived the same day.. Couldn't ask for anything more.. Christmas has come early at our house.. BUY IT!

Fantastic deal... When this televison arrived I had hopes of decent if not amazing picture quality. However I was gutted as I booted up my PS3 through HDMI, the quality was poor, more PS2 like than Hi-def PS3. Then I started to tinker with Brightness/Contrast etc. and it makes a world of difference, I'm amazed at the quality picture now that the settings are tinkered to my needs, and the picture is easily comparable to the big and expensive Samsung's, (own a 42" Samsung) with the Polaroid probably coming out on top in terms of quality for PS3 use. In terms of sound, I'm using my sony sound system, however after trying the sound though the TV, I again was suprised, the quality was great, real HD sound. It genuinly is astounding that you can get this sized TV with this quality for so cheap. Dont be put off by the name, this is a fantastic deal.....
