found it hard to use - would not recommend this is a new style of software ofr me and i found it difficult to use - so much so that i agve up after a few hours. i will look for alternatives and not use this again.

Easy software to use and fun This programme is easy to load into your PC and as a result, set up is fairly simple. The case contains two discs, a programme and a utilities disc, the latter of which includes features such as clip art and a rudimentary design website. There are intuititive controls and the system would be fairly simple to use even if you've no prior experience of using such a tool, therefore it would make a good gift for someone wanting to play around with web design. The only downside as far as I'm concerned is that the company seems to bombard you via phone and email with further products you may be interested in and although to be fair, their stuff is good, it is rather annoying! Don't let this put you off though.

An alternative way to build your web site Serif have a good pedigree of producing web building software. I have run this software to compare it to Internet Design Suite 2009 (also Serif). In a nutshell it is a very good, easy to use package that will suit those who do not wish to spend weeks building a web site. It has good on-line help files and screen tool layout. I have not yet created a live website with it, but so far, it has done what it says on the box. I am giving it 4 stars only because I have found Serif's 'Internet Design Suite 2009' more suited to my work style and I gave that 5 stars. However, this is still an excellent package.

Basic and clunky... I installed this and used it for about 30 minutes before realising that actually Microsoft Word is better than this for designing a website. The templates it gives you are frankly amateurish and you would certainly not develop a professional website on this software. It feels out of date and too inflexible to really be of any use so I would avoid and look at something like Frontpage instead.

Very good I am middle aged and only computer literate in a point and click,cut and paste, kind of way, but I think this is great. So easy to use. I've always been put off trying to make a website because stuff like HTML is virtually a mystery to me, but this is similar in some ways to stuff like Word, which most people can use.I spent a week plodding through the tutorials and as is always the way with these things found that they often overcomplicate things, so if you find that a bit daunting at first stick with it, because it does all make sense.I have almost finished creating a website, but there are some things I'm still not sure about.For example,whether people can blog or comment on it.I'm sure there are other issues that might put some people off, but I think if you want an attractive and professional looking website that you can have up and running in a few days without having to pay a web designer, then this is for you.I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a small business who is looking to generate extra trade over the internet, or indeed anyone who wants to use a website for whatever reason.Personally, I wish I'd bought this a few years ago. On the downside, the tutorials direct you to a folder to access photos. I couldn't find this folder, even after loading both discs a second time.I don't know if it was just me or how important this folder is (presumably not very as I've managed to put my own photos on my website) but I mention it in case anyone else has the same problem.Other than that, everything was fine, but I've given it four stars rather than five, because I haven't really had time to make sure there are no problems that will need sorting in the future.But solely for ease of use I'd give it five stars.
