Useful device but...! This is a handy little device and having just returned from holiday it was useful. However, it can be a bit of a pain to operate as it is tempremental. It does not always register a weight as you dangle your suitcase waiting for a result. This happens maybe about 1 in 5 times that you use it. I now have no more excess! Just got this product today (very fast postage might I add) and it is top notch. Simple in design and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Trialed it on several items and checked the weights, and it corresponds within 0.2kg of my scales (not saying that my scales are perfect). Looking forward to taking this with me through South East Asia, as I have several flights with very strict (and expensive) baggage restrictions. I know I will have no worries with this! A Must for travellers Excess baggage can cost you a lot not to mention the embarrassing moments of it. No more problems now, this product is brilliant. Great little gadget Really pleased with this item and its so simple to use. The readings aren't always exactly the same every time but it only varies by 2 -3 grams. The beep to let you know the reading is ready is an absolute must! I dont know how you would do it without ( you would always have to have somone with you ).So - you attatch it to the luggage with the strap provided ,lift, wait a fews seconds , it beeps, you put it down and view the reading - simple. It is a bit of a strain on the wrists to support the weight of the luggage but we solved that by standing in an elevated position ( e.g on a chair or the edge of the bed )then lifting the case - Sooo much easier !! luggage scale This is a fantasic item and very reasonable price. I would have given it 5 stars but I found it was a little to long to hold it on the suit case before it bleeped to give a reading, other wise very accurate.
