Maxtra water filters Arrived on time as promised. Good price for this item- although I had to buy 12 cartridges! works great for the first week I judge the quality of water by the presence of a tea scum floating on top. I noticed that the filter works great for the first week (or even less) and then the water becomes very dirty again, which is very disappointing. Not really sure whether it's because of the quality of the cartridges, the quality of water in my area, or maybe because it works so well that it captures so much scale from the water and gets clogged quickly... but really, If you want to enjoy a good cup of tea, you have to change these cartridges often, which given their price is quite expensive... one year without worries do not need to worry for whole year that you will run out of filtres,much cheaper than in the shop. Well sorted Previous order had gone missing - I emailed amazon who sent a replacement with no fuss. Impressive service. Cheapest way to buy Britta Maxtra filters.. Look at the reviews of the jugs if you're deciding to buy a filter jug (generally worth it in my opinion), but this 12 pack is definitely the cheapest way to buy replacement filters for it.
