little wonder I bought the touch ,to replace my creative Zen, which I still appreciate, but the Touch is in a different league it does so much, which for an elderly lady is extremely challenging but slowly can be overcome

Some minor niggles,but generally very good. I received this device three days early, which was a very good start. I then had to install iTunes, which is terrible for music, but good for other things. For instance, it can automatically download podcasts, whereas I previously had to copy and paste. Average charge time from 10 to 100% is approx. 4 hours connected to a pc, although it is apparently faster with a mains charger, which is not included.
Good Points:
Very good internet browser
Runs almost all iphone apps
Nice interface
iPlayer and Youtube work fine (Note to U.S - iPlayer is BBC catchup service)
Bad points:
No flash support
Groups are easy to accidentally create with iOS 4
No ability to copy and paste content onto device
Every app has individual file space - no way to share files between.
Wi-Fi is sometimes slow - on laptop I get 10 meg, on iPod 2meg from 1 floor away.
No WMA support
So if you want an iPhone but for less money, or want a capable video player, then buy this, just don't expect it to do anything apple doesn't like.
IPod 8gb 4 series Good product quick and no bugs, only moan is that now have to go out and buy new charger and dock not compatible with any of the previous ones. Always annoying in this age of compatiblity....
ipod touch this is a great buy if you have a good amount of music. I was very happy this is a very easy to use product. The picture for it is great. The wifi and texting features are great to.
Not latest version This is not the latest 3rd generation item but only the 2nd generation . Do not order if you need the latest 3rd generation item
